Celeste and Tim Guthrie

Celeste’s Bio

Celeste grew up as a military kid, born in England, and has had the opportunity to live in several places over the years. She graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma, with a Bachelor of Science in Education, and later earned her Master's in Religious Education with an emphasis in Children's Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

Celeste has spent time teaching elementary school in Texas and has served as a children's minister in churches across Texas, Tennessee, and Florida. Her heart is truly for guiding children in their faith and encouraging parents. Her life verse is Jeremiah 33:3: “Call unto me, and I will show you great and mighty things that you do not know.”

When she's not working, Celeste loves to sew and quilt, bake, cook, garden, scrapbook, and travel. She and her husband, Tim, enjoy exploring new places together and have a fun goal of attending a Major League Baseball game at every ballpark.
