Rich L. Kincl, D.Min., Ph.D.

Pastor Emeritus

Dr. Rich Kincl served as Senior Pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church from 1996–2018.  Leading the church to grow from a small congregation to over 3,200 members, Dr. Kincl focused on three primary areas for church growth and discipleship: Dynamic Worship, Relevant Small Group Bible Study, and Intentional Outreach.

Dr. Kincl served on the Florida Baptist State Board of Missions, as President of the Arkansas Baptist Convention Executive Board, as well as in other leadership positions in the local association, State, and Southern Baptist Convention.  He pastored three churches and served churches in Arkansas, Texas, and Florida. He presently is serving on the Board of Trustees of The Baptist College of Florida. 

He graduated from the University of Arkansas with degrees in Education and Political Science, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity), Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry), and The Florida State University (Ph.D.)

Dr. Kincl and Kay have been married over 40 years and have two married children and four grandchildren.

Dr. Kincl presently serves as Pastor of First Baptist Church, Malone Florida. He also serves as Professor of Preaching and Pastoral Ministry at The Baptist College of Florida. teaching courses in Preaching, Church Evangelism, and Pastoral Ministry.

He and Kay maintain their home in Tallahassee. Immanuel has honored Dr. Kincl by making him Pastor Emeritus.
